Served over fettuccine pasta, this comforting dish is quick and easy to make, perfect for a weeknight dinner or special occasion. Ingredients
  • 4 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 Shallot
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 1.5 cups Parmesan
  • 1/2 box Fettuccine
  • 1/2 pound Shrimp
  • 1/2 tbsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • Parsley for Garnisch
Instructions
  1. Boil water and add in salt. Add pasta
  2. In a separate mixing bowl, mix shrimp with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and oil.
  3. Mince garlic and shallots. Grate Parmesan and keep on the side(Also works with regular pre-grated parmesan)
  4. Get a pan on a medium heat, add in oil and sear shrimp for 2 minutes on each side.
  5. In the same pan on medium heat, add in butter and fry garlic and shallots.
  6. After garlic and shallots are fragrant, add in heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes or until combined.
  7. After combined, turn the flame to low and add in parmesan. Mix well till fully combined and smooth.
  8. Salt and Pepper to taste. (This is a good time to taste and adjust your sauce. Feel free to add more Parmesan here if you like as well)
  9. Add shrimp and pasta into the sauce and mix while the flame is still low so the sauce can stick to the pasta.
  10. Optional: Add in some pasta water if the sauce is too thick. Mine was good but this is an option to loosen up the sauce.
